Start scuba diving and you will forever change the way you view the world. You will get to explore a peaceful underwater world filled with colorful marine life and breathtaking landscapes. It is an incredible lifelong adventure and anyone from age 10 can learn to dive, making this safe fun sport ideal for the whole family. Learning to dive is much easier than you think, and the globally recognized Open Water Diver program is the best way to learn.

To get Started:
Once you've purchased the Open Water Course or Bundle, go to www.divessi.com
Create a profile and be sure to affiliate with Las Vegas Scuba Academy, the shop location will shop up in Boulder City, even though we're located on North Jones and Farm. (long story) When your SSI account is set up give us a call at 725.500.3483 so we can issue the digital learning material.
Once the online course is complete we will schedule a classroom presentation.
After the classroom presentation you will need to purchase snorkeling gear if you don’t already own a set (mask, snorkel, boots, and fins) and pick up the rental gear which is included in the cost of your course.
While you are over we will schedule the first of two pool sessions. The pool is the Heritage park aquatic Complex located at 310 S Racetrack Rd. Henderson, NV 89015
Once you’re comfortable in the pool with all the skills we will schedule two days at the lake conducting 2 dives each day.

- Snorkeling gear if you don’t already own a set. Average cost $300-$500 depending on what you get. All my prices are online at

- Boat Fee for your open water course is $100 for both days per person. Normally $75 a day.
- Park pass to get into lake mead. $45 for the yearly pass or $15 for a week. (Paid to the park when you arrive)
